Customized polyester film encoder for telescopes
Project Background
A high-end telescope manufacturer has customized a dedicated encoder for our company to improve the observation accuracy and reliability of the equipment, and to adapt to astronomical observation, outdoor exploration and other scenarios, as the existing encoder cannot meet the high-precision requirements of the new product.
Customer core requirements
Size: outer diameter 121mm, inner diameter 90mm, ensuring compatibility with the equipment transmission structure;
Hole position: 6 holes with a diameter of 4-5mm, accurately distributed according to the drawing to ensure assembly and signal transmission;
Accuracy: 4993 CPR resolution, line width 0.038mm, improving angle measurement accuracy;
Material: 0.18mm polyester film, required to have wear resistance and temperature resistance characteristics;
Appearance: The surface has no text, the lines are completely opaque, and the gaps are transparent, ensuring accurate optical signal recognition.
Technical solution and implementation
1. Adopting high-precision printing technology of ± 0.01mm to ensure the processing accuracy of line patterns and hole positions, and controlling the line width error within a very small range;
2. Pre treat the polyester film substrate and conduct full process quality inspection, strictly control parameters through equipment such as laser thickness gauges;
3. Optimize production processes, communicate in real-time with dedicated teams, respond quickly to customer needs, and ensure delivery meets expectations.
Results and Feedback
The test shows that the accuracy, stability, and adaptability to high and low temperatures (dimensional change rate<0.001% from -40 ℃ to 60 ℃) of the encoder meet the standards and have been recognized by the customer;
After application, the positioning accuracy and stability of the telescope have significantly improved, and the customer has placed two additional orders. The cooperation continues to deepen.
