Solid Shaft Encoder
the solid shaft is the most common shaft style in encoder models.Just as the name implies, a solid shaft encoder has a solid bar to attach to the motor shaft by using a flexible coulping or an external mounting flange.
There are some limitations with this design, specifically with the fact that the shaft requires an exact width and length to the shaft to fit into the motor and that it requires two external pieces (the flexible coupling and mounting flange), which add to the size of the encoder.
Solid shaft encoders are also susceptible to misalignment, which can impair performance.
for incremental solid shaft encoder, we provides the solid shaft diameter 2.0mm to 15mm and resolution from 50ppr to 80,000ppr
for absolute solid shaft encoder, we provides the solid shaft diameter 8.0mm to 12mm and resolution from 32ppr to 4096ppr
there are several solid shaft types,
1. D shape shaft
2. round shape shaft
3. shaft with keyway
